- There are many different vehicles in the game. You can collect them by bringing them to one of the Garages. Some vehicles can only be found in certain parts of the city; some are even hidden, or found only in particular assignments. You may only keep one version of each type of vehicle. Once brought back to your garage, vehicles can be modified, improved and tested on a special track. Ray doesn't work for free though.
- ―Driver: Parallel Lines Manual description.
There are a total of 94 controllable vehicles in Driver: Parallel Lines. Vehicles can be stolen off the street and stored in Ray's Autos.
- While you're cruising the streets, sooner or later you're bound to lock bumpers with your fellow travellers. If you damage your vehicle it will begin to smoke and its performance will be impaired. If your vehicle takes too much abuse then it will catch fire, and explode: make sure you aren't nearby when it does!
If you abandon your ride Ray will send a truck out to recover it for you. He'll salvage even the most wrecked vehicles, although you'll still have to pay to have them restored to showroom-ready condition. - ―Driver: Parallel Lines Manual description.
Vehicle Select is an option inside Ray's Autos which allows the player to select vehicles they have unlocked, and further modify them for an extra cost. This article lists all vehicles listed in the garage once the game has been complete.
Vehicles listed here are all land vehicles - only land vehicles can be controlled in-game. According to the Garage, there are 93 Vehicles in Driver: Parallel Lines. The 94th vehicle is the unobtainable Mission Truck, which is essentially a Dolva Flatbed with bed sidewalls.
Alongside the 94 drive-able vehicles, there are also 3 towable trailers, and two uncontrollable helicopters.

Trivia[]
- All vehicles (except scripted events and law enforcement) will only feature one person (the driver) within the car.
- Despite the Driver manual claiming that vehicles explode after catching fire, in-game vehicles only explode when shot.
- Continuously jolting the steering from left to right at top speed can increase the vehicle's top speed by around 1 to 2 miles per hour. Stopping will immediately cause the speed to drop to its true, straight line top speed.
- In the Xbox and PlayStation 2 versions of the game, the 2-Door and 4-Door categories in Ray's Autos are named "2 Door Sedan" and "4 Door Sedan", while in the PC and Wii versions of the game, they are simply referred to as "2-Door" and "4-Door".
