The area is full of many small apartments and 'flats', these provide accommodation for workers in Manhattan. The area has many parks, marinas on the shores, and a few bridges joining Harlem to the borough of Bronx. Because of the landscape, the roads are similar to iconic roads from San Francisco, being steep, and alternating from flat to a hill. The local area is very 'temporary', as its estates are very low class and run down.
