Roosevelt Island is a narrow island in New York featured in Driver: Parallel Lines.

Description[]

Roosevelt Island is situated between Manhattan and Queens within the East River. It is passed over by the Queensboro Bridge. Looking to the east faces towards Manhattan, closely inline with Sutton, and looking in the west will face towards Queens (game bearings only).

The island belongs to Manhattan, and is named after Franklin D Roosevelt.

The island isn't mentioned much, if at all, in the story-line, and from game perspective is completely inhabited. There doesn't seen to be any buildings or high land mass either. The island can be seen clearly from the Queensboro Bridge, and the player will notice the island is mostly grass land seperated into large segments by untextured roads. The island isn't solid, so if the player was to reach it, they wouldn't be able to stand on or near it.
